Most areas of the church are run by volunteers who serve magnificently. We believe everyone has a part to play in the life of Wellspring Church, and we also know that the church thrives with good and Godly leadership throughout.
Senior Leadership Team
Elder
Matt Weedall
Matt is one of our elders, he leads the senior leadership team at Wellspring and is employed full-time by the church. He has a passion to see a church that’s alive with the presence of the Holy Spirit, full of people who know who they are in Christ and eager to share the good news with others. He is married to Nadine and enjoys a lively family life with three active children. His hobbies include table tennis, playing various musical instruments and good curry
Elder
Will Pearce
Will is one of our Elders and works part-time for the church as Operations Manager. He oversees our social action, operations and governance, and our children's ministry. Will also works part-time for Jubilee+ as their Chief Financial Officer. He is passionate about churches serving their communities and seeing lives transformed as a result. Outside of church life, Will enjoys running, and will happily engage in a conversation about any sport, no matter how obscure. He is married to Jen and they have two children.
Deacon
Nadine Weedall
Nadine is a deacon on the senior leadership team. She works part-time in primary education and is particularly passionate about supporting children with additional needs. She is married to Matt and together they have three wonderful children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going for walks, seeing friends and eating good food. In church she is passionate about equipping people to be in a light in their sphere of influence.

Jenny Simpson
Jenny is a deacon on the senior leadership team. She works full-time as a senior manager at a Christian fostering and adoption agency. Jenny's joy is to see the transforming work of Christ in the lives of individuals. When not working Jenny enjoys good company and great food in equal measure.
Deacon
Kapil Boodhoo
Kapil is a deacon on the senior leadership team and has been in Leicester since 2001. He is married to Ruth and together they have two children. Kapil works as a full-time teacher, supporting young people with SEND needs. His heart is to see a church that loves people like Jesus did and see people discovering and experiencing the fullness of joy in Christ. He loves a good board game, sci-fi film and contemplating whether to go for a run.

Manor House manager
David Kerwin
David manages Manor House Community Centre and oversees the day to day running of the centre as well as bigger projects. David loves spending time outdoors whether it be cutting grass or spending time hiking in the peak district.
CAP Debt Centre Manager & Administrator
Amy Morris
Amy is our CAP Debt Centre Manager and administrator based at Manor House, she has a passion to see people released from debt and poverty. Amy loves enjoying good food with friends.
