At Wellspring we want to encourage young people in their own faith. We look to create spaces for young people to encounter the holy spirit and be confident in their identity in Christ. We want to equip all of our young people with the tools to bring the kingdom wherever they go.
There are lots of different ways that young people can get involved in youth activities, please see below. For more information email youth@wellspringleicester.org.
We meet every Sunday except for the second of the month. We join the church family for worship, then head out to dive into the bible, hear a talk and play games. This session is aimed at young people in school years 7-9.
We run two types of Friday youth activities, both run from 6:30 ā 8pm at Manor House Community Centre and are for everyone in school years 7-13. Click below to see the next dates.
Youth@Manor is a time to spend time with friends, playing games, table tennis and enjoying the free pick ānā mix! Our Rooted evenings are a time of worship and discipleship, giving the youth a space to ask important questions and be equipped in their faith.
For those in school years 10-13 we meet as a small group to chat about the bible, life and everything in between. This provides an opportunity for our young people to explore their own faith, develop friendships and pray with one another.
Discipleship sessions vary in time and location each month email youth@wellspringleicester.org for more information on the next session.
We run termly social events. In previous terms we have enjoyed bowling, lazer quest and BBQs! These are a great opportunity to spend time together and invite friends along too.
Every summer a group of our young people and youth leaders attend Newday. Newday is one of the largest Christian events for young people that takes place in the UK every year. Thousands of young people join hundreds of churches from all over the UK and Europe to learn about and worship God, camp out together and soak in the summer festival feeling, leaving Newday further along in their relationship with Jesus.
We have a fantastic team that serve our young people and make these events happen. We believe it is important to provide a safe space for our young people; see our policies page for more information on safeguarding.
